A guide for aircraft asset sellers

Sell aircraft parts and surplus inventory.

Aeropart buys commercial aircraft components directly from airlines, MROs, lessors and traders. Send an individual part, a list of surplus rotables or an inventory lot for review. We consider overhauled, serviceable and as-removed material with the available records.

Components we purchase

Use the exact part number and any applicable serial number when describing your material. An aircraft family or a general component name is helpful context, but it does not replace the individual part identification.

  • APUs: GTCP131, GTCP331, APS3200 and RE220
  • Landing gear: 737, A320, 757, 767, 777 and A330 ship-sets
  • Avionics: flight management systems, displays, TCAS, radios and flight controls
  • Rotables: hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel and electrical components
  • Wheels, brakes and other surplus commercial aircraft components

Selling a surplus aircraft parts lot

For a lot or surplus inventory package, an itemized list is the most useful starting point. Include the part number, description, quantity, condition and storage location for each line. Add serial numbers where the items are serialized.

Keep serviceable, overhauled and as-removed quantities separate. Identify whether records are available for every item or only for part of the lot. If you prefer to sell the material together, state that in your inquiry so we can review it on that basis.

Records for APUs, landing gear and rotables

For APUs, include the model, serial number, known hours or cycles, removal status and available maintenance history. For landing gear, identify the aircraft platform, whether it is a complete ship-set, and any available overhaul or life-status information.

For avionics and other line-replaceable units, share trace and available release or repair documentation. We review the material as presented and discuss any additional documentation needed. A part number alone is not a representation of condition or eligibility for installation.

Prepare the material for a purchasing review

Email your list or data pack to purchasing@aeropart.ca, or use our form to introduce the inventory. Photographs of identification plates and the general condition can support the description; records can follow by email.

Let us know where the material is stored, whether packaging is available and when you want to sell. We discuss the assets and records directly with you, agree any inspection requirements, and coordinate payment and pickup or freight once the purchase terms are settled.
